1. Definitions
The Controller operates websites, online services, and other internet-based projects (hereinafter the “Services”) available through www.monsterance.com. In connection with the operation of these Services, the Controller processes personal data of individuals.
Personal data refers to identifiers provided by the user (data subject) to the Controller that, either alone or in combination with other identifiers, can be used to identify a specific individual.
A data subject is, for the purpose of this Policy, any natural person whose personal data is processed by the Controller in connection with the Services.
Processing of personal data refers to any operation or set of operations systematically carried out with personal data. This includes, in particular, collection, organization, storage, retrieval, use, sorting and classification in databases, blocking, and other handling.
A processor is a natural or legal person authorized by the Controller to process personal data for purposes defined by the Controller.
The legal framework governing the processing of personal data by the Controller is Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (“GDPR”) and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the Processing of Personal Data.
2. Purpose of Processing Personal Data
The purpose of processing personal data is the use of Services provided by the Controller.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is:
a concluded contract or order,
or the data subject’s explicit consent.
Email newsletters and other email communications are sent by the Controller only:
Based on express consent according to Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on Certain Information Society Services.
Or, in the case of existing customers who have already used the Controller’s Services, based on the statutory allowances under the same act.
The Controller processes personal data only to the extent provided by the user and exclusively for the purposes stated above, including:
Purchasing goods or services
Fulfilling contractual obligations
Continued use of the Services
Sending information via email newsletters
The Controller also uses cookies on their websites. The purpose and use of these cookies is governed by the Controller’s Cookie Policy, which users are informed about via a cookie consent banner. There, users provide consent for the use of their personal data in connection with cookies. The rules for cookie use are published by the Controller in line with actual implementation.

These services, provided by Google Ireland Limited, are used to analyze traffic and improve the functionality of our website. Data such as anonymized IP addresses, device information, and user interactions may be processed. Google may process this data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards.

3. Retention Period of Personal Data
The Controller stores the personal data provided for the following periods:
a) If a contractual relationship exists, for the duration of that relationship and for 5 years after its termination, due to potential complaints or legal claims between the parties.
b) If no contract is in place, for 5 years from the last use of the Service by the user.
c) Until consent is withdrawn or the user otherwise requests to end the processing of their personal data by the Controller.
4. Rights of Data Subjects
The Controller guarantees the following rights to data subjects under the GDPR:
The right to access their personal data.
The right to rectification and/or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data.
The right to erasure of personal data ("right to be forgotten").
The right to restriction of processing.
The right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making, including profiling.
The right to object to the processing of personal data.
The right to data portability in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
The right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time.

5. Final Provisions
The Controller uses the following data processors when handling data for the purposes defined above:

The Controller does not transfer personal data outside the European Union.
The Controller reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy if changes occur in its operations or in relevant legislation.
